Dr. Christopher M. Congemi, DMD Spring Hill, FL
Dr. Congemi was born in Tampa, and grew up in Hernando County, attending primary school just around the corner from the office. One of his first dental experiences was becoming Dr. O’ Sullivan’s patient at the age of 10. He had the privilege of attending the University of Florida where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Cum Laude honors. Through continued mentorship from Drs. O’Sullivan and DeLuca, he was accepted by the University of Florida College of Dentistry, thus becoming a "Double Gator."
Upon graduation from dental school, he was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH where he received advanced training in all specialty areas of dentistry including IV sedation. Post residency, he was assigned as a general dentist to Hanscom AFB, just outside of Boston, MA. During his 3 years there, he continued to hone his skills as officer in charge of clinical dentistry and eventually deputy chief of dental services. Dr. Congemi enjoys playing all sports, is an avid aviation enthusiast, and loves attending Gator football games. His wife, Megan, a Tampa native and a “Double Gator” herself, is an accomplished elementary school teacher. He and Megan are both very excited to return to their home state of Florida and join the practice that helped start his career. |
